Or are we going towards subscription plans to keep watching models falling on the catwalk, 24/7? Would you be willing to pay a monthly fee for a better YouTube? How much and what features would you expect?

Better … better … what will be a better YouTube ? : better quality? Interesting content ? Interests-oriented HP ? better UX ?
I will not pay for smthing I can already find in Vimeo or Dailymotion…. YouTube’s big advantage : nice search few copyright efforts
no it wont. youtube has been the favorite sites of billions since 2005. now one the biggest websites in the world is going to fail. but i didn’t know about a monthly fee(thats wierd)
People who use the internet regularly enjoy its flexibility and freedom.
We have become use to free services on the most popular websites. It is very dangerous to start charging people for something they have been getting for free. User generated content is also key to Youtube, and if they lose users, they will lose new content too.
Flickr is fundamentally still free but brings in money through additional options, perhaps Youtube could do this.
Many now even get free MP3s and DVDs (illegally) so wouldn’t be interested in a Youtube subscription service.
