    The TechCrunch article is fascinating. The idea that we don’t want/trust advertising seems pretty clear. As consumers, we know ads don’t exist to provide helpful information; they exist to persuade us.

    And it also seems clear that the Internet provides better information than ads — in the form of consumer-generated reviews.
