Is it me or has Microsoft done a pretty good job at looking cool lately? Latest example, their new site for the launch of Office 2008 for Mac. So cute. I mean, they had to do remarkable since they’re talking to a pretty design-oriented target here, but still, it probably wasn’t that easy knowing where they come from.

Also check Zune Journey and Zune-Arts.

They have (that Zune journey site you posted, for instance, is terriic)… now if only they could get the programming right. I’ve got Office 2008 installed and it needs a good minute of a spinning beach ball every time it opens, just to get started. I’ve long since switched from Entourage to Mail, Powerpoint to Keynote, and Excel to Numbers. But yes, you’re right… they’re moving into a better direction aesthetically.

Tell me about it… I thought the 500 Mo update they’ve posted this week would have changed that, but, no…

So frustrating. I wanna roll back to Office 2004!!! I guess it’s the Vista/XP effect for Mac.
