Lego on Google’s HP: Most Seen Banner Ever?

To celebrate Lego’s 50th anniversary, Google wrote its name on the homepage with the famous multi-colored bricks. I wonder if they will ever sell some ad space on their main page. Imagine the exposure for a brand…

    Google founders never hid their passion for Lego bricks. Larry Page built an inkjet printer out of Lego bricks when he was at the University of Michigan ;)

    Yeah, I heard they hold meetings at Googleplex with Lego bricks on the table too… might help come up with constructive, modular ideas… It’s funny I was thinking the exact same thing as you Olivier… yesterday I thought “wow… how can you account for Lego’s free (?) exclusive advertising shot at Google’s homepage?” I guess the bill would be too high even for Lego to afford it. Some brands are “friends” with Google. Some wish they where.
