Made me think about how technology disrupted stand-up comedy. Did cable TV kill the comedian or the comedy club? Cable gave us instant access to "adult comedy" we could never see on broadcast TV. Now online TV will fragment the market even further. But, this time technology will help the average comic by giving them a bigger audience than they could ever acquire at the local open mic.
