Holy. TechCrunch reports that TripAdvisor has acquired the “Where I’ve Been” application for a reported $3 million. For those who are not familiar with it, it’s a module that displays a map on your profile, highlighting the countries/states that you’ve visited. Not the most stunning nor useful piece of code. But 2,381,052 Facebook users installed it. Meaning that TripAdvisor paid $1.26 per user. Seriously, i really need to come up with a killer FB-app idea!

Well, you can always devise a app that allows the user to control his Mafia/ Monster’s Game / Ogame / Travian account. Or a Widget related to those games. They’re growing fast, aren’t they?!
